Convenience and inclusivity: City pujas chant new mantra

Durga Puja organizers in Kolkata are making efforts to promote inclusivity and accessibility during the festival. They have implemented measures such as ramps and separate walking zones for visitors with disabilities and senior citizens, feeding rooms for new mothers, theme explanations in Braille, and pet-friendly corners. Some organizers have even converted an iron garden chair into a motorized wheelchair to assist visitors with physical disabilities. These initiatives aim to ensure that all individuals can enjoy the festivities and have a pleasant experience.
