Winter knocking? Light rain brings nip in the air

Light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning brought cooler temperatures to Lucknow. Thunderstorms were also reported in other parts of Uttar Pradesh. The change in weather is expected to be temporary, with the state meteorological department forecasting partly cloudy skies and isolated rain or thunderstorms in the coming days. A western disturbance over Kashmir, a cyclonic circulation over Haryana, and moisture from the Arabian Sea contributed to the weather change. Temperatures in Lucknow dropped after the rainfall, and partly cloudy skies are expected on Tuesday.
