Cops file adverse status report on DANICS officer under probe

A retired government officer, AV Premnath, has been accused of refusing to cooperate with an investigation into a conspiracy case against him. The police report states that Premnath had a grudge against YVVJ Rajshekhar and conspired to falsely implicate him. He allegedly duped a man by promising him a government job and fabricated a false complaint on his behalf. The report also reveals that Premnath attempted to tamper with evidence and did not join the investigation. The report clears Delhi cabinet minister Saurabh Bharadwaj of any wrongdoing.
