Election body begins special revision of electoral roll

A summary revision of the electoral roll has started in all 70 Assembly constituencies in Delhi. The revision aims to include newly eligible voters and correct any wrong inclusions. People who will turn 18 before January 1, 2024, can apply to become voters. The revision will continue until December 9, and the final publication of the electoral roll will be on January 5. Citizens who will turn 18 on subsequent dates in 2024 can also apply. The Delhi chief electoral officer has invited recognized parties to assist in cleaning the roll.
