Independence Day 2024: Delhi Police’s list of prohibited items for visitors at Red Fort

As India celebrated its 78th Independence Day, the Delhi Police implemented strict security measures for visitors at Red Fort. Entry was allowed only with invitation cards, and a comprehensive list of prohibited items was enforced. Restrictions included no eatables, bags, or electronic gadgets. Containers, toys, inflammable items, sharp objects, and smoking and drinking items were also banned. Additional banned items included remote-controlled car lock keys and power banks. Compliance was urged to ensure a smooth and secure event.
