Kolkata RG Kar horror: State health department forms 4-member committee to probe North Bengal lobby threat culture

The state health department has set up a four-member committee to probe complaints against Avik De, a first-year general surgery PGT at IPGMER. Accused of fostering a threat culture and unauthorized exam interference, De was suspended on September 5. The committee is expected to submit its findings within seven days.
