Land scam case: ED arrives at Soren’s home to question him

Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigators reached Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s residence on Saturday to document his statement regarding an alleged land scam case. Despite having evaded seven previous summonses related to the case since August of the previous year, Soren finally acquiesced to providing his statement at his residence. Notably, Soren, aged 47, had previously undergone nine hours of questioning by the ED in November 2022, pertaining to an illegal mining case.
