Mic muted, says Mamata Banerjee, walks out of Niti Aayog meet; govt refutes charge

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee stormed out of a Niti Aayog meeting chaired by PM Modi, alleging her speaking time was cut short and her microphone was switched off. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Niti Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam refuted her claims, stating that Banerjee was allotted appropriate speaking time and that her mic was not turned off.
