Olectra emerges lowest bidder for supply of 327 electric buses to HP govt

Olectra Greentech, part of MEIL, has become the lowest bidder for supplying 327 electric buses to the Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation. The order includes 297 9-metre buses and 30 12-metre buses. Previously, Olectra supplied 25 e-buses for HRTC’s Kullu Manali to Rohtang Pass route, the world’s first e-bus service at over 13,000 feet.
