Paris Paralympics: India’s Aruna Tanwar loses in round of 16

Aruna Tanwar from India suffered a heavy loss to Turkey’s Nurcihan Ekinci in the women’s K 44-47kg round of 16 at the Paris Paralympics, ending with a score of 0-19. Ekinci displayed impressive skill, scoring nine body kick points. Para taekwondo has seen increasing competition since its introduction at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021.
