Religion doesn’t bar this man from putting up effigies

The Iqbal family in New Delhi has been putting up effigies of Ravana, Meghnad, and Kumbhakarna for Dussehra at Red Fort for years. They assemble the effigies and then install them on Dussehra after filling them with hay. Iqbal, who has been involved in the celebrations since childhood, takes pride in setting the effigies ablaze. The organizers appreciate Iqbal for his dedication and believe that the festival is about bringing communities together. Iqbal hopes to pass on this tradition to future generations.
