Telangana: Man goes to kill wife, ends up murdering her parents

In Chinnaraopet village, Warangal, Mekkala Nagaraju killed his wife Deepika’s parents on Wednesday night. He broke into her home with a knife, engaging in a scuffle with Banothu Srinu and Suguna, stabbing them multiple times. Suguna died instantly, and Srinu succumbed to injuries at a hospital. Deepika sustained hand injuries, and her brother was slightly injured. Nagaraju was arrested on Thursday. The couple had eloped and married in November after their romance bloomed; they briefly lived in Hyderabad before she returned to her parents. Nagaraju is from the SC community, and Deepika is tribal.
