Track fault led to train derailment in Bihar: Report

An unspecified “fault in the track” caused 23 coaches of Guwahati-bound North East Express to derail in Bihar’s Buxar district late Wednesday, leading to four deaths and injuries to 60-odd passengers, the preliminary probe report states. It holds the railway engineering department “responsible” for the fault.
